Before you can begin learning to drive you must be 17 or over and have a valid provisional drivers licence. For information on how to apply for a licence visit our information page. Whether you have had previous driving experience or are looking forward to your first time behind the wheel, your first lesson with Huw will be an assessment lesson.
How many lessons?
The number of lessons you will need depends on your current experience, frequency of your lessons, motivation and how much practice you get outside of your lessons with Huw. The average is around 30 to 45 hours.
What car?
You will learn to drive in a Kia Rio 2 which is less than 3 years old. It is fitted with dual controls to ensure peace of mind, and has a fully adjustable drivers site and air conditioning to make sure you are as comfortable as possible during your lessons.
