Apply for your Provisional Licence
Before you can start learning to drive you must have a valid provisional licence. For information on how to apply visit the Directgov website - Applying for a provisional driving licence. This currently costs £50.
The Driving Test
The driving test is split into 2 sections; the theory and practical tests. You must pass your theory test before applying to sit your practical test.

DSA Driving Theory Test
The Theory Driving Test is split into 2 sections, multiple choice and hazard perception. You will be given your results before leaving the test centre. For more information visit the The Theory Test Explained.

DSA Practical Driving Test

The Highway Code
